Can Baf
Prior to founding BSB Legal with his two partners, Can Baf started his career in one of the most prestigious law firms in Turkey which is in association with the global law firm of White & Case. There, Can’s primary focus was M&A transactions and corporate advice however Can also worked on various other matters including banking & finance, litigation, employment, regulatory and administrative matters and real estate. He continued his career in Akol Law, one of the biggest local law firms with a focus on more specific fields of law including but not limited to e-commerce law, payment systems and personal data protection. Can has also gained significant experience on legal matters relating to family law, litigation and execution proceedings, insurance law, real estate law and employment law.

Emre Şankaya
Prior to founding BSB Legal with his two partners, Emre Şankaya started his career in Bozoğlu&İzgi Attorney Partnership which is one of the most prestigious law firms in Turkey. After 2 years of work, Emre Şankaya returned his hometown Bursa as a legal counsel at AL-İPEK Fiber to gain experience in commercial operations and assist his family business. Emre’s primary focus was corporate advice and life science practices such as pharmaceutical, clinical research, cosmetics and many other related fields on his career in Bozoğlu&İzgi. Emre also worked on other matters including contract, e-commerce law on direct selling business. On his career as a legal counsel, Emre has also worked on legal matters relating to commercial law, employment law, litigation and execution proceedings and insurance law.

Ömer Bulgak
Ömer Bulgak is one of the three founding partners of BSB LEGAL Attorney Partnership. Ömer started his legal career at a leading consulting firm advising national and international clients on competition law, anti-dumping, customs and trade disputes, and compliance issues. His clients consisted of leading companies active in technology, e-commerce, insurance, banking, infrastructure, automotive, optics, iron and steel, port and transportation services sectors.
Ömer then worked as a legal counsel at the world’s largest technology company’s MEA headquarters. There, he worked on both domestic and international legal issues and projects. In addition to the preparation of legal documents and contracts that the company may need on a daily basis, he also provided compliance-related legal support related to company’s national and international policies, licensing, marketing, confidentiality, GDPR and Turkish data protection (KVKK) matters, anti-corruption, and competition.
Afterwards, he became a legal counsel at one of the biggest international bank’s Turkey office. There, he was involved with the preparation of legal documents and contracts that the bank may need on a daily basis, he carried out the bank’s Data Protection Compliance Project and Competition Law Compliance Project. Ömer also provided legal support in terms of banking law, project finance, transaction financing, loan and financing contracts, and both domestic and international qualified financing contracts.
